Here is my first release under the name "pm".
Four recording sessions with the "Virtual Ans" software.
Inspired it is true by the work of Coil for their album "ANS"
(An album of material recorded using the ANS synthesizer, a microtonal / spectral photoelectronic instrument created by Russian engineer Evgeny Murzin in the late 1930s and one of a kind) or other Soviet composers.
For my part, obviously not having this synthesizer available, I worked with the "Virtual Ans" simulator software developed by WarmPlace.
Here is a definition that can be found on the internet about "Virtual Ans":
While other similar programs are just fun toys, the Virtual Ans is a complete professional tool that lets you create unusual, deep, atmospheric sounds. With this app, you can draw a whole piece of music or convert the sound to an image (sonogram) and then make complex changes to the sonogram. In fact, the potential of the program has not yet been explored, so it is more suitable for people who are looking for something new, who are not afraid to experiment with sound.
It didn't take more for me to feel like trying.
Without any pretension, here are four improvisation sessions with this "Virtual Ans" (these improvisations are intentionally minimalist...)
which I hope will motivate you ..
In parallel to HeAD (we are working on new sounds ..) or to other projects like: Bunker Palace (an album in preparation), BBS, +++, Nikophides or Sylphides, I will undoubtedly release other sessions or recording under the name "pm" ..
